Cognizant Classic Round 2 Recap: The Cut Claims Big Names

As Round 2 wrapped up at PGA National, the cut line proved to be a moving target. Initially sitting at -4, the line shifted late to -5, sending several notable names packing before the weekend.

Among those missing the cut were Andrew Novak, Byeong Hun An, C.T. Pan, Cameron Young, Kurt Kitayama, Lucas Glover, Sungjae Im, and Taylor Pendrith—all falling short of the mark. Novak struggled with a 75, while An and Pan couldn’t overcome early deficits.

On the other side, Daniel Berger continued his strong play with a 68, keeping him near the top of the leaderboard. Ben Griffin (65), Michael Kim (66), and Min Woo Lee (65) all surged up the standings, setting themselves up for a big Moving Day push.
